Start Your Day Right
It all started in a tiny home kitchen in Grass Valley, California — fueled by sourdough starter, homeschool chaos, and a very real need to pay for groceries and horse riding lessons. Lyons Fare was born from equal parts love, necessity, and carbs.
Founded by a local mama (that’s me!) who’s lived in Grass Valley her whole life, Lyons Fare began as a simple Saturday ritual: a bread box at the end of the driveway, running on the honor system and good old-fashioned community trust. Neighbors would stop by, leave a few dollars, and head home with something warm, fresh, and made with care.
From there, we brought our dough to the farmers markets, where Lyons Fare became known for handcrafted baked goods and friendly, familiar faces. And now? We’ve officially gone brick-and-mortar.
You’ll find us at 151 W. McKnight Way, Suite B, Grass Valley, CA — tucked between Baskin-Robbins and Papa Murphy’s, because clearly this little corner was destined for people who take food seriously.
We’re still woman-owned, still family-run, and still committed to making real food with real ingredients — and a whole lot of heart. Whether you’re stopping in for your favorite loaf, a sweet treat, or just a quick chat about how fast kids grow up, we’re glad you’re here.
Come visit, give us a call at 530-205-7831, or just follow the smell of fresh bread — we’ll save you a slice.
